  Vice-President 1992/4

  Currently: Variety Councillor 20+ years.

  Experienced TV/radio/theatre/clubs currently working L.E.

  “Survival” as a production title has never been truer. Our job opportunities
  are under attack from all angles. Nothing is safe. Our desire to perform
  drives us to survive. Our strength is in knowing, that whilst we all have
  our own unique talents, our love of the profession unites us.
  Council directs and determines policy, but your President represents you.

  I believe my duties as President include ensuring:-

  1.     younger members’ enthusiasm is encouraged and nurtured into being
          active in Equity.

  2.     long serving members are valued for their professional experience. You
          have survived !

  3.     members in-between these groups, are acknowledged for their wealth of
          knowledge and specific needs.

  4.     Equity represents value for money and is fit for purpose.

  5.     these duties are expressed fairly and equally, without fear or favour,
          verifying that Equity inclusively provides support and welfare across all
          skills and talents.

  Agreement headings should not necessarily command headline importance,
  small print matters! Professional experience changes what others see as
  minor issues into our major concerns.

  If you elect me as President I will carry out these duties with
  radical enthusiasm.
