BLAST FROM THE PAST"

These telephone answering machine messages are from the 1980's, when we were
on the Equity Council. They echo the "conservative" professional
attitudes and principles we held.
"conservative", with a small "c", in that we believed moving forward based on
"building and development" which stemmed from past experiences and traditions.
This is an approach which is different from "progressives" who generally like to
demolish things, to make way for the "new".
I believe the former way ensures security and a solid foundation on which to progress.
Whereas the latter "progressives" if things go "pear shaped" however well intentioned -
leave nothing to fall back on ! ! !
