Held in the wonderful Broadlands estate at Romsey the unpredictable English weather, as usual over a Bank Holiday,
 managed to do its worse. There was no choice but to cancel the Monday event as everything was flooded.

Beautiful sunny Sunday weather with the crowds looking 
at the falconry display birds flying high above.

 Same photo position as yesterday - Monday rain and floods. 
The West Hampshire Mounted Games Team manage a smile.

PICTURE UPDATE  -  BURGHLEY PARK SHOW  -  SUNDAY 4th MAY 2008

For the first time in the 2008 "Country & Game Show" season, the 3 day Bank Holiday show enjoyed glorious sunny weather.
Burghley House - Park is near Stamford in Lincolnshire and is famous for its wonderful architecture and horse trials.

Dave with winning lurcher "Max"  -  Burghley House forms the backdrop.

"TILLER GIRL REUNION"  -  Memories of the famous television and theatre high-kicking all girl dance troupe were enlivened 
at a presentation by former member DOREMY VERNON - author "Tiller's Girls".  
Joined by members of the public and former Tiller Girls is was a fun laughter-filled event. Dave now knows about "The Pony Trot"

The saying goes "You can't win them all" and the weather at the three day Easter Thame Country Show, Oxfordshire tried its best 
to finish off everyone....but we came back "fighting". Gales, hailstorms, snow, sleet, rain, freezing cold and 
the very rare sunny interval hit us all every day  ......  but the show MUST go on  ......  and IT did !
Dave was  ...... "dared to put his shorts on in the freezing cold"  ......  and HE did !
